What forms and particle sizes of dehydrated coriander does Dehydrated Veg offer?
Dehydrated Veg offers coriander powder and whole dried coriander leaves. We can also process to a custom mesh size on request.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for coriander?
25 kg for a trial order. For bulk and export orders the typical minimum is 100 kg.
What is the shelf life of coriander, and how should it be stored?
Coriander leaves and powder carry a 12-month shelf life from date of manufacture. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from humidity and dust.
How does dehydrated coriander compare to fresh coriander in substitution ratio and flavour strength?
The low-temperature drying process is designed to retain the citrusy flavour and aroma of fresh coriander leaf, with the convenience of a 12-month shelf life and no cold-chain needed. We recommend requesting a free sample to test the exact rehydration ratio for your specific formulation.
How fast can you ship coriander samples and bulk orders?
Stock items typically ship the same day. Custom orders (specific particle size or packaging) usually take 2-3 working days.
Which industries use dehydrated coriander, and what are its common applications?
Spice and rice blend manufacturing, instant noodles and soup mixes, snacks and savoury seasoning, sauces and chutneys, canned and frozen foods, HoReCa kitchens, and health/instant food products.
Do you provide quality certifications and a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for dehydrated coriander?
Yes, we provide a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and relevant quality documentation on request with each batch, covering parameters such as moisture, ash content and microbial testing. Share your specific certification requirement (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, etc.) with our team before or during sampling.
What is the HS code for exporting dehydrated coriander?
Dried coriander leaves are commonly classified under HS Code 0712.90 (dried vegetables, other) within Chapter 7 of the Harmonized System - coriander seed (a spice) instead falls under HS 0909. Please confirm the exact sub-heading with your customs broker for your destination country.
Is Dehydrated Veg's coriander safe for direct consumption?
Yes. Our coriander leaves and powder are food-grade, FSSAI-approved consumable ingredients, manufactured and packed under hygienic, quality-controlled conditions for direct use in food formulations.
Does Dehydrated Veg send free samples to customers?
Yes, we provide free samples of up to 50g per product, for a maximum of 5 products per request.

Dehydrated Coriander Leaves & Powder
Coriander is one of the few herbs in our range we don’t cut down into a flake before drying. The leaf itself is already thin and small enough that a fresh coriander leaf, once dried, holds together as a discrete piece without needing to be sliced first — so what we ship as “whole dried” coriander is closer to the leaf’s natural size and shape than a flake product from a bulkier vegetable would be.
Storage Runs Differently Too
Most of our dehydrated vegetable lines specify storage below 20°C in a closed warehouse. Coriander’s storage guidance is simpler — normal room temperature, kept away from wet conditions — which reflects how stable the dried leaf is once moisture is removed, rather than any lesser quality standard. Buyers used to our other spec sheets shouldn’t read the absence of a temperature ceiling as a gap; it’s a genuine difference in how this particular product behaves in storage.
Two Forms
Whole dried leaves retain visible leaf structure and are the form most HoReCa kitchens and garnish-focused instant food producers ask for. Powder is milled fine for even distribution through spice and rice blends, sauces, pickles and chutneys, where a smoother texture and consistent flavour spread matter more than a visible leaf piece. There’s no fixed particle size on either form — both are processed to whatever the order specifies.
Processing
Fresh coriander leaves are inspected and cleaned on arrival, then dried under a controlled, low-temperature cycle to hold onto colour and the leaf’s characteristic citrus-forward aroma. Whole leaf batches are simply sorted and packed after drying; batches destined for powder are milled after drying rather than before, to avoid losing aromatic oils to oxidation during a longer pre-drying wait. Sterilisation (ETO or steam) is available on request for buyers who need it for their destination market.
Where It’s Used
Spice and rice blend manufacturers are the largest buyer category, using powder for even distribution and whole leaf for visible garnish blends. Instant food and snack producers, pickle and chutney manufacturers, and HoReCa kitchens round out the main use cases.
